Now is the perfect time to dive into this Emmy Award–winning horror anthology series. Dive into Season 1 of this world of magic and mystery. With Season 3 coming in January of 2022, there is just enough time to get caught up before the premiere. Based on the best selling All Souls trilogy by historian Deborah Harkness, this series is an easy watch.
This partnership develops into a relationship that threatens the pact between the three magical species and sends Diana on a journey to discover her true power. Reluctantly, Diana partners with Matthew to unlock the secrets within the manuscript. Among them is vampire and geneticist Matthew Clairmont (Matthew Goode), who takes interest not only in the book, but Diana herself. Demons, vampires, and other witches try to get their hands on the book with no success. She returns the manuscript to the stacks, but soon finds it difficult to stay out of the world of magic as other creatures have sensed the book and are interested in its contents. Despite being the daughter of two powerful witches, Diana is set on abstaining from magic in her personal life. Upon opening the book, she immediately recognizes something is different and can sense the magic within its pages. Often, I think her songs have this wonderful cinematic quality to them that makes them just perfect to be used on screen.Diana Bishop (Teresa Palmer), an author and historian, discovers an enchanted manuscript in Oxford’s Bodleian Library. Of course, I can't claim to have seen all of these shows, but I certainly do remember experiencing a few really powerful uses of Sia's music on TV.
